Few public figures in modern times have grasped the imagination of the world as Pope Francis has. His charm, his sincerity, and his ability to express profound concepts in a down-to-earth way have won him the respect and attention of millions.

Pope Francis is making an apostolic journey to the United States September 22-27 after visiting Cuba. In Washington, DC, he will meet with President Obama, pray with the United States Bishops at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, and celebrate the Mass of Canonization of Junipero Serra at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The Holy Father will also address a Joint Session of the United States Congress.

In New York City, Pope Francis will attend Vespers at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and address the United Nations General Assembly. He will also hold a multi-religious service at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, World Trade Center, visit a school in East Harlem, and hold Mass at Madison Square Garden.
