In the summer of 2008, Katie and I decided it was time to move. We were already beginning to outgrow our house when we found out—surprise!—that we were expecting our sixth child.

So we started looking for a place that would fit our growing family—one that was closer to school, work, and church. We just knew that things would be better once we were settled in a new place.

After nearly a year of painting and cleaning, selling and searching, we finally found just the right home in just the right neighborhood at just the right price. Everything seemed perfect, and we thanked the Lord for guiding us along the way.

Moving into the new house helped a lot. It gave us room to grow and put us closer to school, work, and church. But the move didn’t solve everything. Katie and I still have to get the kids up and ready for school every morning. We still have to teach them how to get along with each other. And…
